Preventive health check-up for children and adolescents aged 5–18 years
This is a laboratory testing package designed for the preventive assessment of the general health status of children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years.
The package provides general information about the overall blood status and possible hematological changes, iron stores, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, liver function, possible inflammatory processes and the condition of the urinary system.
The package can be used as part of a regular preventive check-up, including for children and adolescents without symptoms, to provide a general laboratory assessment of their health status. It may also be recommended before the beginning of a new school year or sports activities when a general health assessment is required, as well as on a physician’s recommendation, depending on the child’s medical history and health status.
The package is intended for a general routine check-up and does not replace a medical consultation or additional investigations when symptoms or risk factors are present.
