The National Conference “Rare Diseases Day”

At the end of February 2026, the National Conference with International Participation “Rare Diseases Day” took place in the Republic of Moldova — an event dedicated to promoting early diagnosis, advancing medical genetics, and improving patients’ access to modern therapeutic solutions.

The event brought together healthcare professionals, researchers, representatives of specialized institutions, and patient organizations, providing a platform for experience exchange, presentation of progress in the field of rare diseases, and strengthening collaboration among specialists.

The 11th edition of the conference was organized by the Medical Genetics Society of Moldova, the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemițanu”, in partnership with the Mother and Child Institute.

Invitro Diagnostics participated in this event, supporting the importance of precision diagnostics, genetic testing, and the development of modern approaches for the identification and monitoring of patients with rare diseases.
