Irina Ringaci, 24 years old, is one of the most valuable athletes in the Republic of Moldova and a top competitor in women’s freestyle wrestling. Originally from Sărățica Veche, she made history in 2021 by becoming Moldova’s first-ever wrestling world champion. Her impressive record includes multiple world and European titles at junior, U23, and senior levels, consistent medals at European Championships, and victories at international ranking competitions. Through strength, discipline, and consistency, Irina has become a symbol of performance and ambition in Moldovan sports and was named Athlete of the Year 2025 🥇
