📌 Important: TECAR does not “correct” a hernia, but it helps reduce pain, accelerate tissue recovery, and enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic rehabilitation and exercises. It works through deep radiofrequency energy, which improves microcirculation, reduces muscle spasm, and decreases the inflammatory response around the nerve root.
A hernia at L4–L5 often mimics hip problems or “just sciatica.” Pain can worsen when sitting, bending forward, or during prolonged static load, even if an MRI shows only a relatively small protrusion. The key factor is not the size of the hernia but the degree of contact with the nerve root and the response of surrounding tissues.
