Injectable carboxytherapy of the scalp
Injectable carboxytherapy of the scalp is a minimally invasive procedure in which medical carbon dioxide (CO₂) is injected into the scalp dermis to stimulate blood circulation, oxygenation, and tissue regeneration.
Role/Objective
- Improves microcirculation and oxygenation of hair follicles
- Stimulates hair growth and reduces hair loss
- Reduces inflammation and promotes cellular regeneration in the scalp
- Revitalizes the scalp and prevents hair thinning
- Enhances absorption of nutrients and complementary scalp treatments
Indications
- Thinning hair or mild alopecia
- Scalp with poor circulation or sensitivity
- Loss of hair density
- Revitalization and stimulation of hair growth
Contraindications
- Active infections on the scalp
- Severe bleeding disorders or strong anticoagulants
- Hypersensitivity to CO₂
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding (per clinical protocol)
Procedure
- Cleaning and disinfecting the scalp
- Marking treatment areas
- Injection of medical CO₂ into the dermis using a specialized carboxytherapy device
- Performed gradually according to clinical protocol to cover all affected areas
Procedure Duration / Treatment
- 20–40 minutes per session
- Intensive course: 6–10 sessions, 1–2 per week
- Maintenance course: 1 session every 3–4 weeks
