Express Endocrinology Assessment

Profile Components

- Glucose – assesses carbohydrate metabolism and helps detect abnormalities in blood glucose levels.

Method of Investigation
The tests are performed using a venous blood sample and modern laboratory methods that ensure high accuracy and reproducibility.
Procedure
A venous blood sample is collected for the analysis. The procedure takes only a few minutes and is performed by qualified healthcare professionals.
Preparation:
- Blood collection is recommended in the morning after 8–12 hours of fasting. Drinking plain water is allowed.
- Avoid alcohol consumption and intense physical activity on the day before the test.
- If you are taking thyroid hormone therapy, medications that may affect prolactin levels, or any other drugs that could influence the test results, inform your physician or healthcare professional. Do not discontinue any medication without medical advice.
