Treatment for Urinary Incontinence with CO2 Laser

Preparation

Preliminary consultations: Gynecological and, if necessary, urological consultation. Exclusion of active vaginal or urinary infections. Recommended tests (if not recent): Vaginal exudate / bacteriological cultures; Urinalysis and urine summary; Babeș-Papanicolau test (according to the doctor's indication). It is performed after menstruation (on days 6–12 of the menstrual cycle). It is not performed during menstruation, pregnancy, lactation or in the presence of local infections. Sanitize the private area before the visit (light local shower, no irritating gels). Do not apply creams, ovules, vaginal ointments or intimate deodorants. Come with an empty bladder (urinate before the procedure). Fasting is not required. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Continue chronic treatments, only as indicated by the attending physician. If you are taking anticoagulants or anti-inflammatories, tell your doctor before your appointment.
