Tone Audiometry

Preparation:

No special training is required;The auditory canal must be clean (no earwax plugs);It is recommended to avoid exposure to loud noises for at least 24 hours before the test (eg using headphones, attending loud events);The patient is informed about the procedure and gives informed consent. Tone audiometry is a safe and painless investigation. It is not recommended during acute inflammatory processes of the ear.
