Laboratory departments
Biochemistry
The Biochemistry Department performs general biochemical analyses using various biological materials (blood, urine, stool). The range of tests is extensive and includes many types of analyses such as carbohydrates, enzymes, lipids, liver fibrosis markers, kidney function markers, inflammation markers, tumor markers, pigments, proteins, amino acids, nitrogen compounds, minerals (ions), vitamins, and more. Investigations are conducted using the fully automated Abbott biochemical systems, known for their high performance, accuracy, precision, and efficiency.
Hematology
The Hematology Department conducts hematological studies, hemostasis system analyses, and immunohematological investigations. A wide array of tests allows for early prognosis and diagnosis of various hematologic diseases, ranging from routine tests to highly advanced genetic analyses. Methods range from simple microscopy to advanced technologies such as PCR, SNP detection, flow cytometry, and more. Testing is performed using advanced SYSMEX hematology analyzers, Carl Zeiss optical microscopy systems, and genetic testing platforms from ABI, ILS, and DNA technologies.
Immunology
The Immunology Department performs a wide variety of tests, including: Immunoglobulin determination, Autoimmune pathology markers (screening and confirmatory tests), Hormonal markers, Infectious serological markers, Viral markers, Allergy tests. These tests are conducted using automatic and semi-automatic equipment and various methods such as: ELISA (chemiluminescence), ECLIA (electrochemiluminescence), ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay), Indirect immunofluorescence, Immunoblot.
Immunoblot Molecular Biology
The Molecular Biology Department brings together a team of renowned experts conducting a series of microbiological studies. The diagnostic technologies include real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) processed through automated cyclers from Applied Biosystems, Corbett, and DNK Technology. Personalized medical research plays a central role, with the lab collaborating closely with ATLAS specialists. If needed, the laboratory can provide genetic counseling and post-evaluation results, reviewed by world-class specialists from partner companies.
Family Planning
The Family Planning Department offers laboratory services to detect reproductive system disorders in both men and women, enabling rapid diagnosis of fertility issues or sexual incompatibility. We employ specialized laboratory methods in this field, using automated analyzer programs, microscopic methods, and advanced genetic tests. Available tests include: Routine analyses (detailed spermogram), Autoimmune tests, Detection of sexually transmitted infections, TORCH infections, Sperm DNA fragmentation, Bacterial cultures, Other specific tests.
Genetic Testing
The human body is a complex mechanism. While its principles of operation are similar, each individual has unique characteristics. What works for one person may be harmful to another. Information about our origins, health status, and potential risks is stored in our genes. Genes carry data on the structure of certain proteins, which directly affect biochemical processes in the body. Gene mutations can alter protein structures and influence physical performance. Determining genetic disease risk is an integral part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
