Breast health package
We remind you that independent interpretation of the results is unacceptable, the information provided below is for reference purposes only.
A comprehensive breast assessment combining digital mammography, breast ultrasound and a consultation with a breast specialist.
The package is intended for the preventive assessment of breast health and the timely detection of changes that may require additional investigation or monitoring.
Combining imaging methods provides more complete information about breast tissue, while the breast specialist consultation allows the results to be assessed in a clinical context and, when necessary, determines the appropriate next steps.
The package is recommended for women over 40 years of age as part of regular preventive screening, as well as for women whose physician has recommended a comprehensive breast assessment.
Indications
- Preventive breast assessment
- Regular screening after the age of 40
- Presence of breast lumps or other breast changes
- Changes in breast shape or size
- Changes in the skin or nipple
- Nipple discharge
- Family history of breast conditions
- Monitoring of previously detected breast changes
- Follow-up as recommended by a physician

- Breast ultrasound
- Digital mammography of both breasts
- Breast specialist consultation according to the package
Contraindications
- Pregnancy - mammography is generally not performed during pregnancy, except when medically necessary.
- Acute inflammatory processes or significant breast tenderness may be a reason to postpone the examination, as recommended by a physician.
- Inability to maintain the required position during mammography may be a limitation to performing the examination.
Procedure
The assessment includes digital mammography of both breasts, breast ultrasound and a consultation with a breast specialist.
Based on the results of the examinations, the physician assesses the condition of the breasts and, if necessary, determines the appropriate next steps for further investigation or monitoring.
Limitations
Mammography and ultrasound complement each other, but neither method can detect all breast changes.
Interpretation of the results depends on the patient’s age, breast tissue composition, presence of symptoms and other individual factors.
If abnormalities are detected, the physician may recommend additional investigations or follow-up monitoring.
The package is intended for preventive assessment and does not replace a medical consultation when significant symptoms or previously diagnosed breast conditions are present.
