Preparation:
Inform the doctor about all the diseases you suffer from, known allergies, as well as about the medicines you are taking (especially anticoagulants, antiplatelets, antidiabetics). You may be asked to stop certain medicines (eg anticoagulants) a few days before - follow your doctor's instructions exactly. You will perform blood tests (coagulation, hemogram) and preoperative investigations as recommended. Do not consume food and liquids 6–8 hours before the procedure, unless the doctor specifies otherwise. On the day of the procedure, show up without jewelry, makeup, or nail polish. It is recommended to take a shower and regular body hygiene before hospitalization.
