A diagnostic package designed for men who are planning to conceive a child. The program allows a comprehensive assessment of the general health condition, hormonal status, reproductive function, and the detection of possible infections of the urogenital system that may affect fertility and the health of the future child.

Procedure

The examination is performed on an outpatient basis and includes several stages.

Laboratory tests

complete blood count
erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)
biochemical urine analysis with sediment examination
free testosterone determination
syphilis screening (RPR)
detection of DNA of urogenital infections (Gardnerella vaginalis, Mycoplasma hominis, Chlamydia trachomatis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Ureaplasma parvum, Mycoplasma genitalium)

Reproductive diagnostics

detailed sperm analysis according to WHO standards
bacteriological examination (two-glass test) with antibiotic susceptibility testing

Instrumental diagnostics

comprehensive ultrasound examination including:
thyroid gland
abdominal organs
kidneys
urinary bladder
prostate (transabdominal)

Specialist consultation

After the results are obtained, a consultation with a urologist is performed. The doctor evaluates the results of the tests and examinations and, if necessary, may recommend additional investigations or treatment.

Blood collection:

The sample is taken on an empty stomach. The last food intake should be at least 8 hours before you take the necessary tests.
In order for the test results to be reliable, such as (blood sugar, cholesterol or triglycerides), avoid fatty foods, concentrated sweets and alcohol the day before.
Postpone the process of testing immediately after paraclinical studies (roentgen, TC, MRI) and physiotherapy procedures. They can affect test results.
